Description
Part 1 of Course (4 – 5 Hours) – Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.
Part 2 of Course (2 Hours) – We will cover the laws regarding the carrying of a firearm for personal protection in the state of Georgia. This will include where you can carry, when you can carry, and will also include Self Defense through Deadly Force and the immediate aftermath of interacting with law enforcement. We will also cover choosing a carry firearm and firearm accessories. We will conclude the day at the shooting range where we will give you basic tips on how to hit a target from a self-defense distance of 15-20 feet.
Class is $150 and the class fee is required to be paid in full upon registration. Once registered. you will be contacted by a representative 48-72 hours before the class date with class details (address, materials to bring, etc.).
No call no shows to classes will result in a forfeiture of the class fee.
